Network Integrity, Reimagined for AV Performance
In professional or custom environments, network reliability and signal integrity are paramount. Yet, off-the-shelf network devices are typically designed with a singular focus on data throughput, not the nuanced demands of AV performance.
This results in a common but often invisible problem: interference. Whether introduced by switching regulators, poor PCB layout, or inadequate shielding, noise can propagate unchecked through Ethernet cabling – especially in systems where multiple devices share a network.Rather than filtering noise, the network becomes a carrier for it, amplifying the issue system-wide.

SilentPower’s LAN iSilencer is a passive data line isolator designed specifically for the rigours of professional-grade environments. Housed within a fully shielded RJ45 plug and socket with dedicated grounding, it employs transformer-based architecture to provide galvanic isolation between network infrastructure and endpoint devices. This eliminates ground-loop inducednoise and common-mode interference, ensuring clean, stable transmission. Beyond electrical isolation, the iSilencer incorporates passive RF filtering to reduce the impact of high-frequency RFI.
A key benefit of the transformer-based design is the elimination of DC bias – a common cause of LAN instability, especially in long-run cabling near AC power infrastructure. The LAN iSilencer outputs a balanced signal with no voltage offset, resolving communication issues even in electrically noisy environments such as machine rooms, server racks, data closets, and behind AV walls in smart homes or commercial buildings.

In critical AV environments, even minor electrical noise or timing inconsistencies can compromise system performance. Designed for the most demanding applications, the LAN iPurifier Pro delivers optical galvanic isolation and advanced signal conditioning.
Unlike transformer-based designs, the LAN iPurifier Pro converts incoming Ethernet data into light, transmitting it across an optical barrier before reconversion. This process eliminates all direct electrical pathways between input and output, effectively blocking common-mode noise, stray voltages, and parasitic coupling that can pass through conventional isolation methods.
Once isolated, the LAN iPurifier Pro reconstructs the digital signal using active circuitry. This bit-perfect reconstruction mitigates jitter and restores timing accuracy, ensuring optimal performance for critical components such as streamers, network bridges, digital processors, and audio servers.
An integrated ultra-low-noise DC-DC power supply ensures clean internal operation, while support for external low-noise linear power supplies enables system-wide optimisation.
